Rec North is designed to fill vacant time slots when user groups are not booked in the Gym 1, Brownridge Court, Gym 3 or the Fieldhouse.
It is free for members. All others must pay the daily drop-in fee of $14.25 (tax included).
We are a busy, multi-sport and fitness facility. Priority bookings for the fieldhouse and three gymnasiums are reserved for local sports organizations.
Space availability is subject to change with minimal notice.
Availability is updated via notices posted in the facility, the website, and on social media.
Only staff can set up and take down equipment. Our facility is staffed to meet the requirements of the daily schedule - unscheduled requests for set up cannot be accommodated.
**Aggressive or rude behaviour towards our staff and other user groups will not be tolerated.

Facility Use Guidelines
- Please be off the gym floor or field 5 minutes before the scheduled end time.
- Patrons are not permitted to set up or take down equipment for safety reasons. Staff do not set up equipment outside of Recreation North play or paid bookings. We staff our facility based on the daily schedule.
- The facilities are shared by members and user groups. Be respectful and courteous as per the rules outlined in the NSC Code of Conduct.
- Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the fieldhouse or gyms.
- We are a user-paid facility. If you are not a member, the drop-in fee must be paid.
