Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre

Perched atop Cranbrook Hill among the tall timbers on the University of Northern British Columbia campus, the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre provides recreation and fitness programming, events and active enjoyment for everyone. From fitness membership to rental space, to training opportunities for high-performance athletes, the Northern Sport Centre brings community together.

We offer over thirty weekly Group Fitness Classes, a variety of popular registered programs including Kendo, Gravity and Cross Training as well as community wellness events.

Drop in pickleball, badminton and basketball is fun for the entire family - free for members and $6.00 for non-members.

Our first Summer Session starts Monday, July 4 - register now to save your space.

At 145,150 square feet, this high-performance sport facility is the largest of its kind in British Columbia and home to one of the province’s longest indoor tracks. Three gymnasiums, two indoor fields, two squash courts, generous fitness equipment including treadmills, bikes, weight rooms, child minding and free towel service make the Northern Sport Centre your four season fitness facility.   We are the official home of Timberwolves Basketball and Soccer teams as well as PacificSport North.

The Northern Sport Centre is your centre of excellence in sport, education, recreation and wellness in northern BC.
