UNBC Career Opportunities
Welcome from Dr. George Iwama
It is my pleasure and honour to greet you as UNBC’s fourth President. I joined the University in 2009 and was drawn here by UNBC’s commitment to excellence and its strong sense of community.
Our students and alumni say that this is a special place. So do our faculty and staff. With its comprehensive offering of academic and professional programs in a small, personal community, UNBC offers an unparalleled learning environment. We are regularly ranked first in Canada for research activity among small universities; our grads are generally more satisfied and have a higher employment rate than the grads of other BC universities; and even Maclean’s magazine annually ranks UNBC one of the top three small universities in Canada. ...more >
