Welcome to Orientation Day at the University of Northern British Columbia! This is an exciting time for new students and their families as they embark on their journey at UNBC. We have a variety of events and sessions planned to help everyone get acclimated to university life.
August 29th – Move-in and Parents and Family Orientation – Invite your parents
10:00 am – 4:00 pm Drop-in Session
We will be set up near the residences for a drop-in session where parents and families can ask questions and pick up resources. This is a great opportunity for parents to connect with UNBC while students organize their rooms and meet the Housing Team.
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Parent and Family Orientation Location: 7-150
Join us for an evening dedicated to welcoming parents and families to the UNBC community! The Parent and Family Dinner and Information Session is designed to help you support your student as they embark on their university journey. Whether your student is new to UNBC or returning for another year, this event is an excellent opportunity to connect with university staff, learn about available resources, and meet other families.
