Meet Rathika (she/her)🍫💚— With a Master’s in Environmental Science and a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biology, she brings brains, passion, and serious science energy to the Active Minds team 🌱🧪. She’s most excited about this year’s Mystery Molecules 🔍, loves anything green 💚, and here’s a fun fact: chocolate is the key to her heart 🍫😉.

Meet Nicky (she/her)🌲 — With a Master’s in Marketing and Communications 🎓, she brings creativity, strategy, and heart to everything she does. This summer, she’s most excited about Wilderness Wonderland 🌿 — and yes, her favourite color is green 💚. Nicky’s from Transylvania… and rumor has it, she might know a vampire or two 🧛♀️👀

Meet Madyson (they/them) — They’re a UNBC English grad who loves hiking ⛰️, hanging with their two cats 🐱🐱, and cheering on the Oilers 🏒. Their favorite fictional character is spiderman and their favorite food is curry.

Meet Madison (she/her) — She’s a proud double grad from UNBC with degrees in English 📚 and Elementary Education 🍎. Madison is passionate about working with kids and loves getting to teach them something new every day ✨. Her signature? Pink everything 💗 (you’ll rarely catch her without it!). When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her baking 🍪, reading 📖, or hanging out with her loved ones — including her adorable pup, Bear 🐶.

Meet Casey (she/her)✨— She’s a Business major with a Marketing focus and a minor in Psychology — talk about a power combo! When she’s not hitting the books, you’ll find her expressing her creativity through sketching ✏️, painting 🎨, and even crocheting 🧶 (is there anything she can’t do?). Casey is most excited to meet all the awesome new faces and share her love for learning and creativity!

Meet Ailis (she/her)! 📚 — She’s a Biomedical Studies major from Vanderhoof with a serious love for biology🧬 (and a soft spot for rewatching her favorite movies). When she’s not hitting the books, she’s probably out running or walking the trails around Prince George — or curled up with a good read👟. Science, stories, and fresh air? That’s her perfect mix! 💫

Meet Elise(she/her)! 🏞️— She’s studying Community Planning at UNBC with a minor in General Business — blending creativity, strategy, and a love for vibrant communities 🌆✨ A dancer since the age of 7, ballet is her true passion 🩰. When she’s not at the studio, you’ll find her exploring Prince George’s trails 🚶♀️, walking her pup 🐶, or daydreaming about her next travel adventure 🌍✈️

Meet Faten (she/her) 💻 — a recent Computer Science grad from UNBC who’s all about blending tech with creativity✨. When she’s not deep in code, she’s probably watching movies 🎬 or making memories with her loved ones 👨👩👧👦. Faten is super excited to be part of the Active Minds community and can’t wait to connect, collaborate, and spark new ideas with you all! 🚀💡

Meet Inara (she/her)! ✨— A Physics major with a superpower for spotting even the tiniest details — like atoms (and yes, she definitely still gets teased for it) 🔬👀. She once dreamed of being chased by a giant gorilla in Temple Run 🦍🏃♀️ and often wonders why Einstein napped so much… before deciding to take one herself 😴💭. With a love for stars ⭐, octopuses 🐙, and turning curiosity into adventure, Inara is ready to help make this summer camp one to remember! 🚀

Meet Renee (she/her)! 🔬 She’s heading into her second year as a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major at UNBC this fall 🧪📚 With dreams of becoming either a high school science teacher or a forensic scientist (or both!), Renee’s passion for problem-solving runs deep — especially when it comes to crosswords, Sudoku, and all the New York Times Games 🧠🗞️
