End of Term Timelines
After the end of the exam period for each semester, various processes including grade entry and GPA calculations are completed. Notifications with an update about Academic Standing will be sent following finalization of end-of-term processing. Important information and deadlines will be communicated to student email accounts. Please check your UNBC email regularly.
During the final exam period, the Registrar’s Office enters grades and updates GPA. End of term system processing typically takes 5-7 business days following the end of the exam period, after which Academic Standing is re-assigned. Notification of standing occurs no later than the first week of the next semester. Undergraduate Semester Dates are available on the website.
September 2025 semester:
Grades and GPA re-calculation – week of December 20, 2025
Notification of Academic Standing – week of January 5, 2026
January 2026 semester:
Grades and GPA re-calculation – week of April 27, 2026
Notification of Academic Standing – week of May 4, 2026
May 2026 semester:
Grades and GPA re-calculation – week of August 24, 2026
Notification of Academic Standing – week of August 31, 2026
