Research and Expertise
My research focuses on understanding post-disturbance forest dynamics under a changing climate. Specifically, I investigate how forests respond to and recover from shifting disturbance regimes, particularly wildfires and insect outbreaks, in a warming climate through tree-ring analysis, remote sensing techniques, and statistical models.
