The Transportation Entry Level Program, or TELP, previously known as the Technical Entry Level Program, this opportunity is your pathway to a fulfilling transportation career in the BC Public Service. The purpose of the TELP program is to recruit recent graduates from educational institutions with relevant education (diplomas and degrees) and provide them with the training, mentorship and practical work experience required to perform the duties of full working-level positions.

Majors commonly hired for the TELP program: Accounting, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Commerce, Computer Science, Data Science, Earth Sciences English, Finance, Geography, Indigenous Relations, Journalism and Urban Land Planning/ Development.

Open TELP positions: Junior Full Stack Developer, Operations Technician, Assistant Transportation Planning Technician, Junior Technical Analyst, Development Services Technician, Junior Data Reporting Analyst, Project Management Technician, Assistant Bridge Inspection Technician, Financial Analyst, Assistant Bridge Construction Technician, Properties Technician, Assistant Electrical Systems Technician, Field Services Aid, Assistant Traffic Technician and Project Coordinator.
