Biography

Komla Avoumatsodo completed his PhD in Economics at the University of Quebec in Montreal. He previously held a position as a Lecturer at the National School of Public Administration of Quebec and the University of Quebec, Montreal. Komla has also served as a Research Fellow at the International Union for Conservation of Nature from May 2023 to February 2024.

Prior to pursuing his PhD studies, he worked as a Statistician Consultant at the World Bank Group in the department of Poverty and Equity in Washington, DC from August 2016 to June 2018.

He earned a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Lomé in Togo in 2012 and a MA in Economics and Statistics from ENSEA in Côte d’Ivoire in 2016.
