Biosafety I Training (BIOS)

Biosafety I Training (BIOS) is an online safety course required for students participating in biology laboratory classes.  The BIOS course is completed through Moodle at moodle.unbc.ca.  The BIOS only needs to be completed once for all  biology lab courses, but it must be completed before the first lab of a course.  A decal is placed on the ID cards of students who have completed the course to be presented as proof of completion.

Students enrolled in lab courses that require the biosafety training will need to self-enrol to complete the BIOS course through Moodle -see Self-Enrol button below. If the BIOS training is not available to you in Moodle for self-enrolment, please contact Safety & Risk Management at safety@unbc.ca
