Biography
Breanna graduated from the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program at UNBC in 2018, and went on to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing, where her thesis examined rural university students’ experiences seeking and accessing hormonal contraception through a reproductive justice lens.
Breanna teaches across classroom, laboratory, clinical, and simulation environments, with a focus on pediatric nursing and acute care.
Breanna’s professional interests include simulation-based learning, reproductive health access, and equity in rural healthcare and has presented nationally and internationally on these subjects.
In addition to her academic role, Breanna maintains active nursing practice, providing specialized home-based care to children with medical complexity.
