Biography

Dr. Linklater has a PhD in wastewater disinfection specializing in alternative disinfection methods such as potassium ferrate, peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and ultraviolet light irradiation. For her dissertation, she examined the prevalence of viable but non-culturable (VBNC) following wastewater disinfection. As a MITACS Canadian Science Policy Fellow with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Government of British Columbia, she examined agricultural drought and how it may change in the face of climate change in British Columbia.

Natalie is currently involved in teaching and developing curriculum for new Civil and Environmental Engineering programs at UNBC.
