Biography
Jessa has over 20 years of experience in supporting people and organizations from a human resources perspective.
Jessa's core competencies include empowering team members and clients, supporting creative and innovative solutions, and coaching for evidence-informed decisions. She is passionate about recruiting equity-deserving candidates and building accessible processes for all. She has successfully led over 400 executive searches across a broad range of sectors, including universities, colleges, all levels of government (First Nations, federal, provincial and territorial), health care and technology. She holds an Honours BA in Indigenous Studies from the Chanie Wenjack School for Indigenous Studies at Trent University and a MA in Canadian Studies and Indigenous Studies. She studied for a PhD (ABD) in Medical History at McMaster University.
