Graduates from UNBC’s Northwest campus ready to inspire and lead

Family, friends, faculty and community members filled the R.E.M. Lee Theatre in Terrace on June 3 to celebrate the achievements of University of Northern British Columbia graduates from the Northwest campus set to become nurses and teachers in the region and beyond.

UNBC student advocates for a greener future in nursing

Fourth-year nursing student Ankur Patel is working to integrate sustainability into healthcare education. Through research, advocacy and national policy discussions, he is driving change at UNBC and beyond.

UNBC Panel Highlights Collective Responsibility in Reconciliation

The UNBC Community came together for a discussion on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action. Dr. Daniel Sims discussed UNBC’s progress, followed by a panel that highlighted non-Indigenous responsibilities in advancing reconciliation.

Honouring women leaders shaping education and equality

Celebrating the contributions of women at UNBC, including Indigenous leaders Dr. Deanna Nyce and Chancellor Darlene McIntosh, who are advancing education, inclusivity and reconciliation in the University community and beyond.

MBA students tour northwest B.C. for Foundation Week

For the first time, students in the Master of Business Administration program will spend their first week of classes based out of UNBC's Northwest campus in Terrace where they will have the unique opportunity to listen to, learn from and forge relationships with regional businesses and community partners.
