Defending a thesis or dissertation can be an intimidating experience, often due to uncertainty about the process. 

This session provides graduate students with practical insights into what typically occurs during a defense. 

Drawing on extensive experience chairing defenses at UNBC, Dr. Hartley will outline common procedures, expectations, and strategies for success. 

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and address concerns, fostering confidence and preparedness for this important milestone.
