There are two levels of biosafety training at UNBC: I and II.
Biosafey I
Biosafety I is required for undergraduate biology laboratories. The training course available online through Moodle. For more information, please contact the Risk & Safety Assistant (250-960-5533).

Biosafety II
Biosafety II is part of the Laboratory Safety & Methodology Orientation and is required for laboratory personnel who work with living organisms on an independent basis or in a supervisory role (e.g., research students, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, research associates, faculty). Please look under events to find the next scheduled session.
