International Student Application Fee
This fee is due upon submitting application on EducationPlannerBC.
Application Fee: $150.00 (non-refundable)
Admission Deposit
All International students are required to pay an admission deposit. This deposit will be used to pay for your tuition and fees at UNBC.
Undergraduate Students: $9,000.00
Graduate Students: $1,500.00
Graduate MBC Students: $2,000.00
Note: The international admission deposit is $9,000 and non-refundable. Refunds may be granted in cases of study permit refusal, less any tuition or charges owing. Refund requests must be submitted by the deadline date. Please read our refund policy for details
When the UNBC Admissions office has finished reviewing your application and has determined you are admissible to your chosen program, admissions will ask you to pay the Admissions deposit. Once the deposit is paid, you will receive the information required to apply for your study permit and your official Letter of Admission. Receipts can be downloaded from your student account.
International Student Tuition Fee
Students who wish to complete their degree in 4 years will study at least 10 courses (30 credits) per academic year. Students are also required to pay for textbooks and various student fees. Other expenses that you may want to consider are living expenses including housing and food. Costs may vary by program and total semester credit count; below is an estimate based on a 10-course, 30-credit-hour, non-competitive, undergraduate program. Tuition fees for each semester are due on the first day of that semester.

Tuition Fee: $26,750.00 (based on a 10-course year)
Textbooks: $1,400.00
Student Fees: $1,315.00

Graduate Tuition Fees
Graduate Tuition Amounts depend on program and are not charged at a per credit rate. Please see the Office of Graduate Administration website for more information.
Medical Insurance
The mandatory private health insurance is required for new students that do not currently have British Columbia Medical Services Plan (MSP). Visit here for complete details.
Housing and Meal Plan
*The Meal Plan is mandatory for all undergraduate students living at the Prince George campus who have fewer than 60 UNBC credit hours.
