Suites feature private bedrooms (equipped with bed and desk), a full kitchen, a large furnished living room, and a shared bathroom. Each building offers WiFi, full laundry facilities on each floor, and a large common area for events, socials, study halls, and games. Campus Housing Life is the perfect blend of community and convenience.

Students are connected to both on and off-campus resources through their Housing Assistants, senior student leaders who provide educational and social programming for students living in housing. Whether it’s a movie and board games night, study skills workshop, or a floor-wide exercise night at the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre, our Housing Life Team is here to build a community where our students can thrive.

A Message from our President

It’s a pleasure to welcome you to our campus and to your new home away from home, the UNBC residences. The buildings are named Neyoh and Keyoh, which are Carrier terms for our home and our community. This is fitting, as residence life is really about becoming part of a larger community while feeling at home. Our Residence Assistants and staff are here to help you, and to provide the professional support you need as you attend UNBC. But your peers are there for you as well. The camaraderie of our students is felt strongly across campus – and residence life is no different.

President Daniel Weeks helps students move in to UNBC residence.

At UNBC, we’re committed to the whole student, not just your academic endeavours.
Enjoy your time with us - I’m certain your experience at UNBC will be terrific!

Regards,

Dr. Daniel Weeks
UNBC President and Vice-Chancellor
