Meal Plans

Take advantage of UNBC's All-You-Care-To-Eat meal plans! Our meal plans provide you with unlimited access to healthy, hot and ready meals that will suit every schedule and meal preference. The meal plans are available for everybody, whether you are a student, faculty or staff. 


The Residence Meal Plan

UNBC's Residence 7-Day Meal Plan provides patrons with unlimited access to the Dining Hall and all of its Food Service options. Open 7:00am - 11:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am - 10:00pm Saturday and Sunday during the school year, patrons will enjoy multiple food stations, comfortable seating and special events. 

Does this meal plan apply to you? Residence students at the Prince George campus with less than sixty UNBC credit hours completed will be part of the meal plan.  Meal plans will remain optional for residence students with more than sixty UNBC credit hours completed as well as all graduate students.

The 2018/2019 Residence Meal plan costs $2,413.00/semester, and is automatically added to the residence fees.

The Residence Meal Plan is designed to support students who are away from home. The plan allows students to maximize their campus experience by reducing the need to grocery shop, prepare, and clean up after meals. The UNBC Agora Dining Hall is a welcoming social environment, and is a great way to meet new people.

These plans are available to Faculty, Staff and any student who is not on the Residence 7-Day meal plan.

$2,413.00 (tax exempt)

Best value and ultimate convenience with unlimited access to UNBC Agora Dining Hall seven days a week. Plus $150 Dining Dollars to use for meals (not alcohol) at Tim Hortons, Stackers Deli, Col Juicery, Thirsty Moose Pub and the University Farmers Market.

5 Day UNLIMITED
$2,145.00 (tax exempt)

Great value and flexible plan with unlimited access to the UNBC Dining Hall Monday - Friday. Plus $250 Dining Dollars to enjoy meals (not alcohol) at Tim Hortons, Stackers Deli, Col Juicery, Thirsty Moose Pub and the University Farmers Market.


Accommodating Food Allergies

The Agora Dining Hall prides itself on accommodating students living in residence with food allergies and/or intolerances. We have a very structured menu cycle which ensures student have all of their nutritional needs met. Daily menus are available online, including the nutritional values and ingredients at Dine On Campus.

If you have food sensitivities, we encourage you to review the menus and request additional information if needed. Our chefs are more than willing to help ensure your meals meet your personal needs.

For students with severe allergies, we recommend that you meet with our Executive Chef to discuss your meal options. It is essential that in the first few weeks of school, you work with our staff to ensure that your needs are addressed throughout the semester. 

For unique situations an exemption process is available. Exemptions for the September semester must be submitted before August 1. Exemptions for the January semester must be submitted before December 1.  Applications submitted after that date will be considered for the following semester.
