Allergies and Dietary Accommodations

UNBC Food Services is committed to providing a safe dining experience for students, faculty, staff, and guests. 

All Meal Plans provide for a range of diets and preferences. Options such as gluten-friendly, halal, non-dairy, vegetarian, and vegan are offered.  Look for the symbols listed next to menu items to identify priority allergens.  

The Dana Hospitality culinary team endeavors to accommodate students with special dietary needs. If you have dietary concerns, it is essential that you work with staff to ensure your needs are addressed. Please email UNBC Food Services to discuss how the Meal Plan can accommodate your dietary needs. 

If required, you may also complete and submit a Meal Plan Accommodation Request Form. Please email UNBC Food Services for more information about the form. 

Please note that we recommend applying as early as possible to ensure that all dietary accommodations are in place by the start of the semester. Requests submitted after the Due Dates listed below will not be considered for the current semester and will be considered for the following semester instead. Late applications may be accepted in exceptional medical circumstances.
