Adding videos to webpages
An update was made on the video paragraph type that affects the way you will manage your existing embedded videos moving forward.
Web editors will no longer be able to edit existing embedded videos on the website as a result of this update. If you need to edit/update an existing video, you will have to remove it first, then insert a new video into your webpage.
There has also been a slight change to how you insert a video into a webpage. You no longer need to generate embed code to insert a video into a webpage; you will only need the URL for your video. The steps to insert a video into a webpage are now as follows:
- When editing your webpage, choose the ‘Add Video’ option from the paragraph drop-down list.
- Enter the title of your video.
- Enter the URL for your video in the ‘Video Link oEmbed’ field.
- Enter the transcript for your video (if available).
- Save and view your webpage to ensure your video displays and plays within your webpage.
