Driver Responsibility

Drivers are responsible for finding an authorized parking space. Not finding an authorized parking space does not justify violating parking policies.

A general unreserved parking permit authorizes vehicles to be parked in areas designated by the permit but does not guarantee a parking space.

Parking permits signify that a person has been given permission to park (in designated areas) at UNBC and must be completely, clearly visible hanging face out on the rear view mirror or on the driver’s side dash. Permits cannot be sold or given to another person.  If the permit holder registers more than one vehicle under the permit it is the holder’s responsibility to move the permit when changing vehicles.

If you forget your Permit, you will have to purchase the required time from a pay station.

Upon expiry all permits must be returned to Parking Services; permits remain the property of UNBC.
