Graduation

UNBC Graduands

Do you have a family member who is graduating this year? Here is some important information, just in case your grad forgets to fill you in.

Convocation checklist

  1. Check the Convocation website for all relevant materials.
  2. Start following our social media channels for event updates and connect with grads on Convocation day
  3. Check out the UNBC Bookstore to purchase graduation merchandise such as frames, flowers, and alumni swag
  4. Confirm details with your graduand and mark your calendars!

Please Note: The Convocation Office and Office of the Registrar cannot not give out personal information about your graduand’s status or ceremony details that are not publically available. In order to receive specific information you may need to speak to your graduand directly.

Graduand: someone who is eligible to graduate, but has not yet graduated. Once a degree has been conferred (awarded) then an individual becomes a graduate.

Staying connected

After your student completes their degree, they become one of our UNBC Alumni. We look forward to staying connected with them and celebrating their future successes.
