UNBC Daycare Society Summer Camps 

Weekly Camps for Ages 3–5 | Weekly: July 7 – August 5 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM 

Looking for a fun and enriching summer experience for your little one? The UNBC Daycare Society is excited to offer weekly themed summer camps for children aged 3 to 5 years old. 

Each week, campers will explore a new theme through play-based learning, creative activities, and outdoor adventures led by Registered Early Childhood Educators. As a licensed daycare facility, we’re proud to provide the highest standard of care in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. 

Whether it’s science, art, nature, or storytelling, our summer camps are a wonderful way for young children to learn, grow, and make new friends. 

Camp Details: 
Dates: Weekly from July 7 – August 5 
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday to Friday 
Ages: 3 – 5 years 
Cost: $225 per full week | $200 for the shortened week

* Please note that we are unable to provide one-on-one support for children, as we do not have additional educators available. Our staffing follows the expected ratio of one educator to eight children.

The UNBC Childcare Society reserves the right to deny entry to the Summer Camp if a child’s needs exceed the level of care we are able to provide within our licensed staffing ratios, or if their participation poses a risk to the safety or well-being of others.

Summer Camp Weekly Themes 

Week 1: July 7 – 11 
 Little Explorers – Nature Week 
 Get ready to dig in the dirt, search for bugs, play camping, and discover the wonders of the natural world through hands-on outdoor play and nature-based crafts. 

Week 2: July 14 – 18 
 Under the Sea – Ocean Week 
 Dive into a world of underwater adventure! Explore sea creatures, ocean habitats, and water play through stories, crafts, and sensory activities that bring the deep blue sea to life. 

Week 3: July 21 – 25 
 Kitchen Creators – Cooking & Baking Week 
 Whisk, mix, and create! This week introduces little chefs to fun kitchen activities like making simple snacks, baking treats, and exploring food through playful, hands-on experiences. 

Week 4: July 28 – August 1 
 Community Helpers – Heroes in Our Neighbourhood 
 Meet the people who help our communities thrive! Learn about firefighters, police officers, doctors, nurses, teachers and more through themed games, role-play, and visits or stories. 

Week 5: August 5 – 8 (Shortened Week) 
 Ready, Set, School! – School Prep Week 
 Designed to help little ones build confidence for the transition to preschool or kindergarten. This week includes routines, group activities, practicing independence, and fun school-themed games to get children excited and prepared for the year ahead. 

Please note: All sections of the form must be completed in full. As a licensed childcare facility, we are required to collect detailed information for each child to meet licensing requirements and ensure we are fully prepared in case of an emergency.

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the start of your registered camp week will receive a full refund, minus a $25 administration fee. 
Cancellations made within 7 days of the camp start date are non-refundable, unless the space can be filled from the waitlist.
