Study abroad provides an opportunity for students to broaden their
understanding of other countries and societies. Through study at a
foreign university, UNBC students are exposed to different perspectives
and approaches to common issues that affect our increasingly
interdependent world. A series of academic exchanges has been
established with universities in the Pacific Rim, the Cirucumpolar
North, Europe and throughout North America, in order to contribute to
the educational enrichment of UNBC students.
To be eligible to participate in an exchange UNBC students must:
- have a minimum CGPA of 2.67
- have completed a minimum of 30 academic credits at UNBC
- provide a statement of interest which details the expected
contribution of the exchange to the applicant's academic and career
plans.
- provide an academic plan/proposal (with the assistance of the International Student Advisor)
- provide two letters of academic reference from UNBC faculty and one personal reference.
- produce a Curicullum Vitae/Resume
The International Student Advisor is available to assist students.
Annual Application Deadline is November 1st.
