The next application deadline for Green Fund Proposals and Travel Grants is Friday October 7. This is your chance to put your suggestions for sustainability projects at UNBC into action.
The Green Fund program takes a broad approach to sustainability. From lighting retrofits and compost projects to social enterprises and improving food security, we welcome proposals of all sorts.  We are happy to assist in developing your proposal.
The UNBC Green Fund provides seed grants for innovative projects designed to create a more sustainable campus. The fund was created from UNBC parking revenues and a total of $50,000 per academic year is available to fund projects.  The Green Fund looks to grants of up to $5,000 each.
New Process!
Starting this Fall, the Green Fund is piloting a new application that will better suit the needs of the UNBC community. Proponents are now given the opportunity to receive feedback on preliminary proposals before submitting final proposals in November. More details are provided in the attached guidelines as well as online at: http://www.unbc.ca/green/green-fund.
