The Enhanced Forestry Laboratory (EFL) was officially opened in April 2000 and continues to support controlled environment research and teaching activities at UNBC.

 

Internal and external clients access space, equipment, and services through our online request system.

 

Greenhouse technicians work closely with faculty, students, and external users in support of research and teaching initiatives.

 

A variety of activities are administered by the Greenhouse Technicians and those are available on the links to the left.

 

The IK Barber Enhanced Forestry Lab is located in building 12 at the north end of campus, across from the power plant, as show in the expandable map below.

 

 

Ike Barber contributed a very generous sum towards the EFL as a strong statement of his support for university research and academic excellence.
