Counselling Services

At Counselling Services, we strive to support students’ academic and personal success by providing assistance through counselling/therapy, helping students connect with others, and aiding students in accessing resources and information.

Principles
  • Provide accessible, caring, and professional counseling services.
  • Recognize the importance of good student/faculty relations.
  • Promote the growth and development of a strong and healthy UNBC community.
  • Develop strong links and partnerships within both the UNBC and broader communities.
  • Ensure quality service through continuing professional development.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and abide by  legal and ethical codes.
Individual Counselling
We provide a confidential and discrete atmosphere in which you can discuss any topic or situation that concerns you.

We offer a number of groups for students each year.  Some of these groups are facilitated by other professionals in the Prince George community, while others are just for students at UNBC.
