Photos of Prince George & Northern BC Scenery
The Office of Communications has a large repository of photographs that depicts scenes of Prince George and Northern BC. The collection includes wildlife, historic sites, outdoor recreation, First Nations totems, and landscapes. The images cover most of Northern BC’s regions.
These photos are not available for free download on this site. Contact the Office of Communications for information about what’s available or to request a particular image. A fee will be charged for usage of these images by organizations/agencies external to the University of Northern British Columbia.
Video Footage of UNBC
In addition to an extensive photo collection, the Office of Communications maintains a repository of broadcast-quality video footage depicting the University campus, teaching and research, UNBC athletic events, major news announcements, and scenes around Northern BC.
The footage was initially captured in DV-Cam and can be provided in a variety of formats: DVC-Pro, mini-DV, S-VHS, and VHS. Footage can also be provided on a DVD.
The University has on-campus capabilities to transmit footage directly to television stations.
