It was time to look ahead to the next chapter for the Class of 2017 as our students celebrated their Match Day early in March.

This year, the NMP’s Year 4 class had a 100% match in the first iteration and all students matched to their first choice of specialty. More than 50% will pursue family medicine residency programs, all outside large urban centres.

As shared by Dr. Paul Winwood, head of the Northern Medical Program, “The NMP owes its success to our faculty, who give up their time to help teach our students, and to our staff, who are dedicated to providing our students with the best education possible.
