UBC Master of Occupational Therapy - North cohort (MOT-N)

OT education in action

The UBC Master of Occupational Therapy - North cohort program is anchored in evidence-based and contemporary theories, principles, and beliefs around occupation, health, occupational therapy, social justice, and the education of adult learners. 

During the program you will find your niche, with courses covering topics as diverse as: children and youth, mental health, health and wellness, productive aging, business and industry, rehabilitation and disability, participation and social justice.

  • 24 month full-time program
  • Program includes 15 courses organized into six terms of study:
     
    1. Theory;
    2. Health, illness, & occupation;
    3. Skills for occupational therapy practice;
    4. Evidence for occupational therapy practice;
    5. Professional practice; and
    6. Fieldwork.
       
  • 29 weeks of fieldwork (1087 hours)
