We are ready for you and we want to welcome you to UNBC this year with a little support.
You could be eligible to receive $350 towards your Fall 2025 or Winter 2026 semester just by registering for your courses early. Open to all new and returning students – undergraduate and graduate – UNBC is awarding 130 tuition waivers between June 17 and August 5, 2025.
Registering for the Fall 2025/Winter 2026 academic year from now until August 5 automatically qualifies you for the draw. Three separate draws will be held with 20 waivers per draw going to new students and at least 20 waivers to returning students.

- Students who have registered on or before June 17 at 4 p.m. (PT) will be eligible for Draw 1.
- Students who have registered on or before July 8 at 4 p.m. (PT) will be eligible for Draw 2 (except for the winners from Draw 1).
- Students who have registered on or before August 5 at 4 p.m. (PT) will be eligible for Draw 3 (except for the winners from Draw 1 and Draw 2).
*If your tuition is waived or covered, you will be offered a $350 UNBC Bookstore gift card as an alternative to the tuition credit. Tuition credit cannot be transferred to another student.
Criteria
The waiver is available to UNBC students who have active student status and who register in at least three (3) credits for either Fall 2025 or Winter 2026.
Auditing, Exchange, visiting Research Students and Dual Credit Students are exempt from the tuition draw.
Additional Details
- Students can only win one $350 waiver or gift card. If a student wins in Draw 1 or Draw 2, they will be ineligible from future draws.
- Winners who are starting the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program will be awarded a $350 UNBC Bookstore gift card automatically. We are unable to offer/apply a tuition waiver for tuition charges at partner institutions.
