Creating electronic requisitions
The Financial Administration Support Tool (FAST) is a web-based reporting tool. The FAST Web Requisitioning Module (WebReq) is an online system to request goods and services at UNBC. It is an efficient way to forward requisitions for approvals to the Contracts and Supply Chain Management department. WebReq provides a central location for accessing the online requisition system.
The benefits of the WebReq system include:
- Simplified procedures for ordering materials and services without leaving your desk;
- Reduced time spent creating requisitions and approving and issuing purchase orders;
- An optimized collection of data and document routing.
Supervisors must send an email to purchasing@unbc.ca with the employee ID number to request access to the WebReq module.
Orientation sessions
WebReq orientation/training sessions are available upon request for new users, or users who need a refresher. They are conducted in a group setting online, on an as needed basis.
