Basic Design Principles

Description

This course is designed for students looking to enrich their understanding of two-dimensional design so they can apply design concepts and techniques in their workplace and creative practice.

Through a combination of lectures, online research, and hands-on assignments, students will be introduced to the core principles of two-dimensional design and learn how to create successful design solutions in any medium.

All students are required to provide their own laptops with Adobe CC Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign software to complete the in-class or online assignments. Trial versions of the software are sometimes available on the company website, but at this time there are no discounts available for Continuing Studies students. Students are responsible for purchasing their own supplies.
