Career Ambassadors

Working closely with the Career Readiness and Co-op Coordinators, Career Ambassadors mentor peers in crafting effective resumes and cover letters, and assist in delivering workshops on job search strategies, application materials, and interview preparation. By serving as a bridge between students and their professional aspirations, Career Ambassadors contribute significantly to enhancing career readiness on campus.

Responsibilities 

  • Providing mentorship to students in one-on-one and group settings, focusing on developing and refining resumes and cover letters.
  • Assisting in facilitating interactive workshops on resume writing, cover letter development, interview techniques, and job search strategies. 

Requirements and qualifications 

  • Must be a current UNBC student studying at the Prince George campus.
  • A graduate student or an undergraduate student with a minimum of 60 credit hours completed.
  • Must be in good academic standing.
  • Prior work experience an asset.
