BC Natural Resources Forum Student Opportunity
The BC Natural Resources Forum (BCNRF) provides a unique opportunity for UNBC students to engage with industry professionals, explore career pathways, and build valuable connections in the natural resources sector. Students will have the chance to attend select portions of the forum, including a meet-and-greet reception and forum sessions, where you can network with potential employers and gain insights into the industry.
To help students maximize this opportunity, the Career Centre and the Office of Research and Innovation will offer:
- Pre-training in networking and professionalism to equip students with the skills to engage confidently and effectively.
- UNBC-branded name tags and apparel to ensure a polished and professional presence at the event.
Industry Professionals Attending the BCNRF:
Students can expect to meet professionals from industries such as:
- Forestry and Forest Products
- Mining and Minerals
- Oil and Gas
- Renewable Energy
- Environmental Management and Consulting
- Indigenous Partnerships and Initiatives
- Technology and Innovation in Natural Resources
Eligible Students:
This opportunity is open to all students at UNBC, who are interested in connecting with professionals across diverse natural resource industries.
Student Selection Process:
There are 30 student spaces available for this opportunity. Applications must be submitted online.
If more than 30 applications are received, students will be selected through a lottery system to ensure fairness.
