The University of Northern British Columbia’s 4th Annual Alumni Homecoming runs September 22-25, and features a variety of events that showcase UNBC’s grads, their talents, and their achievements. All are welcome.

Alumni Connections Speaker Series September 22 at 6pm in the Weldwood Theatre (7-238)
Presented by the Alumni Association of UNBC, the Alumni Connections Speaker Series features James Adamson who has been working on water supply and hydrogeology projects in Haiti since 2006. Adamson survived the devastating earthquake that shocked the country in January and is travelling from Haiti to share his experiences with the relief and rebuilding efforts.
Going Green at UNBC! September 23, at 6pm in the Weldwood Theatre (7-238)
UNBC’s Capital Project Manager Doug Carter, Green University Research Project Manager Danielle Smyth (MNRES Environmental Studies '10), and NUGSS Associate Director of Campus Sustainability Alexie Stephens will give a presentation on the ways Canada’s Green University has become a leader in sustainability and share tips on how everyone can live the green life.
An Evening of Tapas & Jazz September 24, at 7pm in the Bentley Centre
Join us for great food and live music as we celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of our Alumni of the Year: Marguerite Kolie (BA ‘10), James Adamson (BSC ‘04), and Janine North (CEO of Northern Development Initiatives Trust).

Homecoming Golf Tournament September 25, at 10am at the Aspen Grove Golf Course
Join the Alumni Association of UNBC for a round of Texas Scramble and fight for the Ted Sadler Jug. Includes a pancake breakfast and prizes.
Shane Lake Nature Walk and Family Picnic September 25, 11am in UNBC Parking Lot C
Take a guided tour of UNBC’s backyard and learn about traditional ecological knowledge and the variety of flora and fauna in the area. Pack a litter-free lunch and bring your camera to participate in a photo scavenger hunt.
T-Wolves vs. Alumni Basketball Games September 25, at 6pm at the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre
Watch T-Wolves of old put the latest crop to the test at the NSC.
Alumni and Friends Pub Night September 25, at 9pm at the Thirsty Moose Pub
