To fulfill the objectives of the Institute, the following activities have been planned which will be rolled out in due course and announced on this website:

• Producing a directory of UNBC social science researchers and their fields of expertise;
• Providing direct research experience for both graduate and undergraduate students;
• Organizing training seminars and workshops for graduate and undergraduate students;
• Providing support for community initiatives such as conferences with the Institute serving as knowledge broker;
• Hosting an annual meeting that would bring together both researchers and community stakeholders;
• Creating an academic journal for dissemination of research by the Institute members and other researchers
