Indigenous Peoples and Multiple Sclerosis: Stories from Lheidli T'enneh Territory in Prince George, BC

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease affecting the central nervous system. Despite several population studies on MS, Indigenous perspectives on MS are underrepresented in scholarly literature. Funded by the BC Network Environment for Indigenous Health Research, this study profiles Indigenous MS experiences in Prince George to decolonize health research, foreground Indigenous perspectives regarding MS, and promote culturally relevant healthcare for Indigenous Peoples in Canada
