Join us at UNBC Geography's 2020 Death Valley Field School in the mountain and desert landscapes of the southwestern US.

Explore the incredible geological and geomorphological formations of Death Valley and Owens Valley, collect and analyze ground-based and airborne data, and learn about water resources in this arid region.

Eligibility and Participation

This field school is for UNBC undergraduate and graduate students interested in both physical and human geography as well as students outside our university.

We will facilitate participation for students outside of UNBC via video conference using Skype or BlueJeans before our departure.
