This highly interactive 12-hour workshop will engage the learner in the proposal writing field to procure granting funds.

Through constant interaction, feedback and thought provoking exercises during the two days, students will obtain the skills to be able to create unique and well planned project proposals that address a current challenge within an group/society/community, while meeting the criteria of the funding organization.

About the Instructor

Julie Bowser lives in the Cariboo Chilcotin and has over 25+ years of administration experience in adult education. The past 10 years of her professional career focused on writing successful contract and/or grant proposals for program/project development and implementation.

In 2014 Thompson Rivers University awarded Julie their Distinguished Service Award for her work in developing non-traditional innovative programming to address learning challenges faced in rural communities.

This course consistently receives excellent reviews and will cover the steps needed for writing a successful grant/contract proposal.
