MSOC: UNBC-Victoria matchup rescheduled for September 4th

Ten days after they were originally set to clash, the UNBC Timberwolves and University of Victoria Vikes will now battle September 4th, 2018, at Masich Place, at 6:30 PM.

The UNBC Men's soccer team had originally been scheduled to open the 2018 Canada West season on August 24th and 25th, against the visiting Vikes. The air quality was deemed unsafe, exceeding conference regulations, and those games were postponed.

September 4th represents the rescheduled date for the first of the two original games, while Canada West officials look to find a date for the second game later in the year. That game will not be played in Prince George, but rather in a location to be determined.

The matchup will be the first game of the Timberwolves' season, while the Vikes take on the Trinity Western Spartans and  UFV Cascades this weekend.
