First Nations Studies

UNBC partners with other educational institutions and with First Nations organizations to offer courses leading to a certificate, diploma or degree in First Nations Studies.

For the General program, various courses in Anthropology, First Nations Studies, English, History, Political Science, International Studies, and Women's Studies have been offered in many communities, providing course credit for a variety of certificates, diplomas or degrees.

Students taking these courses may obtain credit in teachable subject areas for the B.Ed program; gain elective credits for other programs; or gain credit towards a BA General.
