UNBC Hosts Discussion to Mark United Nations Anniversary

The International Studies program at the University of Northern British
Columbia is hosting a roundtable discussion later this week to mark the
60th anniversary of the United Nations.
This session, titled Out of the Ashes of War: The Founding of the United Nations, will feature short presentations:
Ferry de Kerckhove – Director General of the International Organizations Bureau of Foreign Affairs Canada
Don Munton – professor in the UNBC International Studies program
Heather Smith – professor in the UNBC International Studies program
The roundtable will be held Friday October 7, from 8:30-12:30 in the UNBC Senate Chambers (1079 of the Administration Building). Following the presentations, there will be a question and answer period and then a larger group discussion. The public is welcome to attend.
