Showcase Of New Northern Research Opportunities May 2nd, 2pm, Student Services Street

Representatives of the media are invited to attend an event at the University of Northern British Columbia's Prince George campus on Wednesday, May 2nd that will outline federal, provincial, and industry funding for new research initiatives. The event will begin at 2pm in the Student Services Street and conclude with a demonstration of the University's new High-Performance Computing lab - the first of its kind in BC.

New federally funded research positions will be announced and state-of-the-art research equipment will be showcased - together, they will provide the University with more resources to focus on significant northern economic and environmental issues.
