Application Deadline Extended For First Nations Masters Degree

The University of Northern British Columbia has extended the deadline for applications from students for its master's degree in First Nations Studies. It's expected that courses in the program will be offered in the Northwest region starting this summer.
The University of Northern British Columbia has extended the deadline for applications from students for its master's degree in First Nations Studies. It's expected that courses in the program will be offered in the Northwest region starting this summer.
The original application was February 14th, and has been extended to
March 30th.
The First Nations MA will focus on the cultures and contemporary issues
of northern BC nations, and students will have opportunities to learn
in and from different First Nations communities. The program will be
based primarily out of Terrace but courses will be offered part-time
to accommodate students from throughout the region who wish to take
courses while they're employed. Those students interested in the master's
degree must already possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
A cohort of up to 12 students will be admitted into the program.
