The University of Northern British Columbia Geography program will host a discussion on the future of the BC forest industry, Thursday, January 11th at the University.
The University of Northern British Columbia Geography program will host a discussion on the future of the BC forest industry, Thursday, January 11th at the University.
Leading the discussion will be SFU professor Dr Roger Hayter, an authority
on the restructuring of BC's forest industry and an author on the subject.
He has recently published Flexible Crossroads: The Restructuring of
BC Forest Economy and Troubles in the Rainforest: BC's Forest Economy
in Transition. In 1999, Dr Hayter was awarded the Canadian Association
of Geographers' award for scholarly achievement.
Dr Hayter's public talk on forest industry restructuring will be Thursday, January 11, starting at 7:30pm in Agora Room 7-150.
