UNBC Chancellor Visits Cariboo

University of Northern British Columbia Chancellor Iona Campagnolo will be visiting the Cariboo in mid-August to meet with community leaders, students, and members of the general public interested in the University's progress.

Joining the Chancellor in the tour will be UNBC President Charles Jago, Vice-President Academic Deborah Poff, Regional Coordinator Ellen Facey, Deans, faculty members, and administrators. The group will be in Quesnel on August 19th, in Soda Creek and Williams Lake on August 20th, and in 100 Mile House and Alkali Lake on August 21st. Highlights will include:

Quesnel 10:30am Tour of the UNBC/CNC campus followed by a brunch meeting with students
2:30pm Public meeting at CNC Room 204
7:30pm Public Reception at the Tower Inn
Williams Lake 7:30pm Public meeting at the University-College of the Cariboo
100 Mile House 9:30am Public meeting with community leaders at the Red Coach Inn
Previous Chancellor's Tours have included visits in the Peace River-Liard, Bulkley Valley, and North Coast regions. Chancellor Campagnolo is UNBC's founding Chancellor and has many honours to her credit including the Order of Canada and an honorary Doctorate of Laws from Simon Fraser University.
