Angel Ransom, BPl, MCIP RPP is a member of Nak’azdli Whut’en and has a range of experience in the field of Environmental and First Nations Planning including land use planning (LUP), communication and facilitation, technical research, analysis and writing, and natural resources project management. She approaches the practice of planning from a proactive, holistic, culturally sensitive perspective. Some of her recent work includes leading the First Nations Major Projects Coalition Environmental Stewardship Technical Team in the development of the Major Project Assessment Standards, informing policy and legislative improvements to Federal and Provincial environmental regulatory review processes, and assisting with increasing First Nations community capacities.
