UNBC to Celebrate International Award for Bioenergy Program

The University of Northern British Columbia will be hosting an event on campus this Tuesday to celebrate an international award for UNBC’s bioenergy projects.
Details of the award will be announced during the event, which will feature government, industry, and community officials joining with members of the UNBC community.

Canfor Winter Garden
The event will begin at noon with chants and cheers led by the University’s Jeux de Commerce (JDC) West team. Remarks and presentations will begin at 12:15pm. In addition to announcing details about the award and its significance for northern BC, the University and its “Students for a Green University” club will be launching a Facebook contest asking students and prospective students what they do to lead a green life.
